Every ZEVEN piece passes through a considered three-stage process before being offered for sale.
Every piece in our collection is carefully curated, with an uncompromising appreciation for craftsmanship, heritage and design. We understand the importance of trust when investing in pre-loved and archival luxury, which is why authenticity remains at the forefront of our selection process.
OUR AUTHENTICATION PROCESS
Each piece undergoes a thorough authentication review by experienced specialists, who assess the craftsmanship, materials, construction, hardware, stitching, branding and identifying details relevant to the designer and era.
Our approach recognises that authentication is not one-size-fits-all. Different designers, collections and production periods require specialist knowledge and expertise.
THIRD-PARTY AUTHENTICATION
Selected pieces within the ZEVEN archive are accompanied by independent third-party authentication certificates.
Where a certificate is included, this will be clearly stated in the individual product description.
Not all pieces are supplied with certificates. The absence of a third-party certificate does not, in itself, indicate that a piece is inauthentic.
VINTAGE & ARCHIVAL AUTHENTICATION
Some of fashion’s most extraordinary creations predate modern authentication technology and contemporary verification systems.
For older and historically significant pieces, we work with specialist authentication houses and experts experienced in vintage designer fashion, archival collections and historical production techniques.
These pieces are assessed with consideration for their era, original construction methods, materials and distinctive design characteristics.
Our approach respects the history of each piece while maintaining the standards of authenticity expected from ZEVEN.

While original receipts, authenticity cards and certificates may not always accompany vintage or pre-loved items, every piece is represented with transparency and care.
